Seminars at the Chair

Birgit Arnholdt-Schmitt will give a lecture the 13th of June 2012 at an open day of the German SME-company INOQ GmbH.

INOQ is industrial partner of the Chair in a long term bilateral collaboration initiated in December 2010 within the frame of an 'Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP)' project in the FP7 Marie Curie Action program.

Dr. Carolin Schneider is Head of a German Industrial Collaborator in a Marie Curie project at the EU Marie Curie Chair. She kindly agreed to present her experience with the foundation of a spin-off company in an open lecture at the UÉ .

Birgit Arnholdt-Schmitt is invited to visit the 'Estación Experimental del Zaidín' (EEZ) in Granada, Spain, and present the research focus of the Chair by the lecture:

'A role of alternative oxidase (AOX) in stress-induced cell reprogramming of applied plant systems'

at the 4th of February 2011. EEZ belongs to the Centre of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC).

Dr. James C. Nelson, Department of Plant Pathology, Kansas State University, USA, will talk about: 'Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) discovery and validation in sorghum'
